In fact, this device accommodates the needs of the visually impaired, people with dexterity disabilities and with limited comprehension skills. Users with hearing disabilities may have a limited experience.

Amóvil was able to review the Galaxy Note 3, the newest version of Samsung’s so called phablet, thanks to a loan by the Vodafone Spain Foundation. This device offers a wide range of interesting and state of the art features. It also accommodate the needs the visually and the hearing impaired, and it is suitable for people with limited comprehension skills.

Amóvil has been able to review the Chinese-made tablet Huawei MediaPad 10 Link, thanks to a loan by Orange. Although, it is not very ergonomic due to its weight and dimensions, this Tablet it may offer a satisfactory experience to some users. In fact, it accommodates the needs of people with visual disabilities and profound hearing loss.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is a mid-range affordable smartphone that runs on Android 4.3. Because it’s slightly smaller than the Galaxy Note II, some experts consider it a “phablet”, that is a hybrid between a smartphone and a tablet. The handset comes equipped with several state of the art features built-in, and accommodates the needs of people with visual disability, and poor comprehension skills.

The HTC Windows Phone 8X is a powerful and very intuitive smartphone that offers the best of Microsoft’s operating system. However, compared to other mobile brands as well as to other HTC devices, it offers very few accessibility features. In fact, Amóvil can only recommend it to people with hearing and mild dexterity disabilities.
